Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) seemed to indicate his support for a public plan trigger. “If we don’t see more competition in the system, we might revisit it [a public option] down the road,” he said. Warner said he aligns himself with moderate Democrats in the Senate, whom he calls “radical centrists.”

Trigger!?!

When the insurance company turned down cancer surgery because it was a pre-existing condition, then that was the trigger for a public option!

When insurance premiums rose 20 times faster than inflation as they have the past 10 years, then that was the trigger for a public option!

When 40 million people who cannot get medical care through an employer just simply cannot afford $3000.00 per year for health insurance so they do without, then that is the trigger for a public option!

When people have offered up story after story of how medical costs forced them into bankruptcy, then that was the trigger for a public option!

THE TRIGGER HAS BEEN PULLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
