via Obama Sharpens His Reminders That He Inherited Fiscal ‘Mess’ From Bush – washingtonpost.com.
In his inaugural address, President Obama proclaimed “an end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn-out dogmas that for far too long have strangled our politics.”
(snip)Over the past month, Obama has reminded the public at every turn that he is facing problems “inherited” from the Bush administration…
If this author is saying that “an end to petty grievances” is a campaign

The Hug
promise, I have only one thing to say about that: weak. The truth is, I distinctly remember Candidate Obama during a campaign that lasted nearly two years lambasting the failed policies of George W. Bush at every turn. Once S
enator McCain became the presumptive Republican nominee, Cand
idate Obama never missed an opportunity to remind
Americans that John McCain supported almost every single one of those failed policies.
Now that the media has weighed in by blaming Obama of breaking a campaign promise by using a half-baked perception of a broken promise that he never made in the first place, they should tell the truth about the “mess” that Obama keeps speaking of and affix the blame for it squarely on the ones responsible for it – the Republican Party and George W. Bush.
True to form, the very last thing the author of this terrible bad article leaves you with is the thoughts and opinion of the right-wing echo chamber:
Host Chris Wallace asked on “Fox News Sunday” this month, “Can this now fairly be called the Obama bear market?”
House Republican Whip Eric Cantor (Va.) said, “I want to take the president at his word that he wants to work on these problems plaguing American families,” adding that “people are looking for leadership.”
“It is the Obama economy and the Obama stock market,” Cantor said. “This is about today, and he’s assumed his post.”
Why? Why do they consistently remind us of the illogical and sometimes jaw-dropping wrong opinions of those that helped the Bush Administration ruin this country? (When things turn around, I’m coming back to Cantor’s statement here.)

ith a huge surplus, now the deficit ceiling is over $11 trillion. Each year’s budget shortfalls under Bush were over $400 billion. Bush expanded the government. He borrowed and spent like a drunken sailor.

Bush and McCain - Warmongers
Iraq will soon be over. This is another major step to freeing the United States from the dictatorial oppression of George W. Bush. Bush’s war for oil cost more lives than was taken on 9/11, one of many excuses Bush used to “stay the course” in Iraq.
We will stay the course set by Obama now, ending this six year nightmare.
I am sad that this celebration in Iraq isn’t front page news all over the world. It should be.
This is a big deal! Don’t let it go unnoticed!
