via Smart Politics – Coleman Says ‘God Wants Me to Serve’.
Norm Coleman
On Friday, Coleman made the media rounds with radio interviews that included conservative nationally syndicated radio talk show host Mike Gallagher.
(snip)
When asked about the recount and how it is affecting him personally, Coleman said he starts every day with a prayer and that he knows “God wants me to serve.” Coleman did later temper those rather immodest remarks by adding that he “is not indispensable” and that others can serve as well. Coleman closed the interview with an appeal to Gallagher’s listeners for contributions to his campaign website.
Okay, so God will smite thine enemies. You need to keep that kind of thinking under wraps, Norm. They’ll have a white love-me jacket waiting for you outside.
But seriously, what really gripes my ass are those self-appointed faux-religiositic hypocritical liars who always know “what God wants”. They use “what God wants” as an excuse or a justification for almost everything under the sun. Sometimes I think that “what God wants” is for them to STFU.

Now I get it, THAT’S …”what God wants”! Soooo Christiany.
